Title: Recommendation: I recommend approval for the renewal of RFP 04C-001HN for Prequalification of CPA Firms in the amount of $38,000 for the period of October 16, 2007 through October 15, 2008. Description: P2 Approve the renewal of RFP 04C-001HN for Prequalification of CPA Firms for the period of October 16, 2007 through October 15, 2008. · Request for Proposal No.04C-001HN was awarded by Board action on April 19, 2003, to Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP, Harvey, Branker & Associates, McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, Rachlin Cohen & Holtz, LLP, S. Davis & Associates, P.A., for three year(s) from October 16, 2003 through October 15, 2006, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. · By Board action on April 19, 2006 the first option to renew was exercised for the period of October 16, 2006 through October 15, 2007. · The second and final option to renew is now being exercised for the period of October 16, 2007 through October 15, 2008. · Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP, Harvey, Branker & Associates, McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, S. Davis & Associates have agreed to honor terms, conditions and pricing of existing contract for the forthcoming contract period. Rachlin Cohen & Holtz, LLP, had previously chosen not to renew. · Services to be provided include internal audit assignments as determined by the Audit Committee with input provided by the District Auditor’s Office.
