Title: CP-2 Renewal of Architectural Services on Continuing Contract

Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the renewal of Continuing Contract for Architectural Services on Continuing Contract to Acai Associates, Inc., CSA Group Florida, Inc., f/k/a Brown & Brown Architects, Inc., Harvard Jolly, Inc., and MPA Architects, Inc., for Architectural Services on projects that the construction budgets are less than $1,000,000, for studies whereby professional fees do not exceed $50,000. This renewal period will be from September 22, 2007 through September 21, 2008.

Description:

Approval of the second and final one-year renewal for Architectural Services on Continuing Contract. This contract is for School District projects having construction budgets of less than $1,000,000. This Contract is for study activity when the fee for such professional services does not exceed $50,000, or for work of a specified nature as outlined in the contract is required by the District.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact is from various funds in an amount not to exceed $200,000.00 per year. The source of funds is the corresponding Capital Projects Budget.
