Title: CC2 Consultant Contract for Whatever It Takes, Inc.

Recommendation:
I recommend award of the consultant contracts with Whatever It Takes, Inc. for $49,250  effective October 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all needed documents.

Description: CC 2 Consultant shall perform the following services: Consultant Lisa McCullen-Gomes has worked for the past two years in the Champs Afterschool Enrichment Initiative as a contractor to the previous oversight entity for this project.  Her expertise in Champs staff development, training, and monitoring of the program sites will facilitate successful transition of the Champs initiative to the District's oversight.  The consultant will be working directly with District staff as well as with individual sites to ensure the initiative is implemented with fidelity.
