Title: AC4-Interagency Agreement Between the School Board of Palm Beach County and Children’s Services Coun

Recommendation:

I recommend that the School Board approve the Interagency Agreement between the School Board of Palm Beach County and Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County concerning Student Information and authorize the Superintendent or designee to sign all documents and contracts related to the Interagency Agreement Between the School Board of Palm Beach County and Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County Concerning Student Information

Description:

• Presently the Children’s Services Council (CSC) provides partial funding for a Health Care District (HCD) Program in 46 elementary schools.  The program provides Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) to these schools.

•  

  • The BHPs work with students in grades K-3 who are referred to them.

   

  • The HCD is separating from this program.  The CSC will take over funding this school year while it looks for an agency to permanently oversee the program.

   

  • The attached agreement will allow the information we shared with the HCD about students in the BHP program to now go to CSC for the same purpose. 

   

Financial Impact:

There is no financial impact to the School District of Palm Beach County.
