Title: Future Authors Writing Workshop

Description: The second annual Future Authors Writing Workshop, sponsored by Oce´ North America, reached nearly 50 students this summer. A second middle school workshop was added and several of last year’s participants returned to serve as mentors.  Through the use of Breeze distance learning technology, a group of students from Glades High School also participated in the program.  The students were treated to talks from six well-known local authors, including Barbara Parker, Jonathan King, Brian Latell and James O. Born.  Their writings will once again be digitally printed and bound into a book by Oce´ North America and unveiled at a book release and signing event at Barnes & Noble in Boca Raton on October 18 at 9:30 a.m.
