Title: Interlocal Agreement with Palm Beach Gardens Description:
- The Agreement provides for the mutual use of recreational facilities by the City of Palm Beach Gardens and its affiliated recreation groups, and schools within the City.
- The term of the Agreement is one year with four consecutive renewals.
- During the summer of 2005, the City will use classrooms, athletic fields, the auditorium and the gym at Palm Beach Gardens High School for the City's summer camp program, and the City will use classrooms for evening recreation classes to be held from May 2005 until March 2006.
- In return for these uses, the City will provide all maintenance and repair at Palm Beach Gardens High School's stadium field, softball field and practice field for a period of one year, in an amount not to exceed $100,000.
Recommendation:
I recommend approval of the Interlocal Agreement between The City of Palm Beach Gardens and the School Board of Palm Beach County for the Mutual Use of Recreational Facilities; and authorizing the Chairman and Superintendent to sign all necessary documents.
