Title: Project Modifications for William T. Dwyer

Description:

This project modification contains the following item:

§         CCD #1 in the amount of  $3,540.42

§         Description:  Install ceramic floor and wall tile in the two restrooms at the new Weight Room Facility.

§         Cause: School District Requested.

§         Justification: The Building Department Plumbing Inspector determined that the sealed concrete finish specified on the drawings and in the specifications was not an impervious surface and did not meet the requirements of the Florida Building Code 2001.  Design, engineering, and construction administration services for this project were donated by BRPH.

Recommendation:
I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the amount of $3,540.42 for William T. Dwyer High School, Weight Training Facility Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.

Financial Impact:

The financial impact to the Project’s Budget is $3,540.42.
