Description:

Replace all existing roofing components with shingles and a 20 year warranted modified bitumen roofing membrane on the low-slope roof areas of the core buildings and of the sunken portions of the classroom pods.

Recommendation:

Approve award of contract in the amount of $1,282,313. for Jerry Thomas Elementary School Reroofing Project No.1651-8375 to the lowest responsible bidder, National Roofing South Florida, Inc. and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents.

Financial Impact:
The financial impact is $1,282,313.  The source of funds is the corresponding Capital Projects Budget.
