Title: Description: A group of 20 students will be chaperoned by 6 school board employees and 1 parent. The group will depart form The trip is for students who have made a significant turn around and/or excelled academically. The cost of the trip is $2881 per student and $3156 per adult. A fundraiser, donations and internal accounts will fund the trip for the students. Three school district chaperones' travel expense will be funded through budget and the remaining will pay their own way. Fund 0100/7300/3360/1641/1641. The benefits to the district include: Ø Broaden Student/teacher cultural, geological awareness. Ø Aspire an appreciation for other cultures. Recommendation: I recommend that the School Board approve an educational trip for Gold Coast School of Choice students to travel to Financial Impact: Cost to the District is $9468.00 from Gold Coast's budget travel fund and $57,620.00 from internal funds.
