Title: Description: Whispering Pines Elementary Roof Replacement Project No. 1781-8911
This project modification contains the following item: Item #1
§ CCD #1 in the credit amount of ($3,242.39). § Description: Allowance for roof deck repairs. § Cause: Unforeseen Condition. § Justification: Actual square footage of roof deck and material requiring repair was less than contained in the contract. Item #2 § Description: The Project Architect has certified that Whispering Pines Elementary School Roof Replacment, under contract with Murton Roofing Corporation, achieved Final Completion on November 13, 2003. The General Contractor has requested, and the Architect and Staff have recommended, Final Payment and Final Acceptance.
All punch list items have been completed. Recommendation: I recommend the School Board ratify Project Modifications in the credit amount of ($3,242.39), approve Reduction of Retainage from 10% to 0%, approve Final Payment and ratify Final Acceptance for Whispering Pines Elementary School, Roof Replacement Project, and authorize the Chairman and Superintendent to execute all related contract documents.
