Congratulations!

Congratulations to Ms. Fusaro, Mrs. Lennihan and Ms. Balchaitis (teachers at J.C. Mitchell Elementary
School) for receiving a grant from the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Golden Bell. The grant money
will be used to purchase products from Unique Learning System, including L3Skills, Symbol Stix and News-
2-You, which will help teachers incorporate the content areas of social studies, science, and math skills.
These products help students with emerging literacy skills by using picture symbols along with the text.

Interactive Flat Panels

Interactive Flat Panels are Arriving!

These panels allow students of all abilities to access learning! These panels are touchscreens and move
up and down so all students
can use them. Two students can
participate in interactive activities
alongside of each other which
can foster collaborative learning.
Several of our ESE classrooms
are participating in the Trailblazer
program and we are excited to
see the engagement and learning
gains to be made by the use of the
touchscreen flat panels.
