Information Technology
The Information Technology program offers an innovative, integrated learning Available School Options
environment focused on computers, technology, and communications. The

The Innovative Interactive Technology program is designed for the student who
wishes to pursue a technological pathway. Students may elect one of three highly
sought-after technology-based pathways: Drafting and Design, Commercial Digital Available School Options
Photography, or Game, Simulation, and Animation Programming, in which students Choice
may earn industry certifications in Toonboom Storyboard Pro, Toonboom Harmony · Suncoast Community High
for animation and Microsoft’s software development in C#. Students in Drafting and In–House: None available
Design Technology may earn Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, AutoDesk- Inventor, Revit
Architecture and MasterCam X9 industry certifications. Students in Commercial
Digital can earn Adobe Photoshop industry certification. This coursework offers
real world application along with the opportunity to earn college credit through
Advanced Placement classes. There are no eligibility criteria required for students
applying to this program.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme
The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is an academically challenging and balanced
program of education that prepares students in grades 11–12 for effective Available School Options
participation in a rapidly globalizing world and for postsecondary success in college
and career. Students study at least two languages and increase understanding Grades 9–10: IB MYP | Grades 11–12: IB DP
of diverse cultures. Due to its rigorous nature, preparation for the IB Diploma
Programme is offered through the IB Middle Years Programme curricula in the Choice

International Baccalaureate Career Programme (IBCP)—Medical
Sciences
Atlantic High School offers a Choice program—IBCP Medical Sciences designed for
students entering grade 9 who want to pursue a Medical career pathway while also Available School Options
completing the IB MYP requirements and the requirements for an IB Career–related Choice
Programme certificate. Students successfully completing this four–year course of · Atlantic Community High
study earn an IB MYP certificate, Emergency Medical Responder certification, and In–House: None available
the IBCP certificate. Algebra I is highly recommended to prepare students for the
rigor of the program. All students applying to this program must meet the following
eligibility criteria: 3.0 GPA.
