MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

Parents and Guardians,
As Superintendent, I have the privilege of championing the 330+ Choice
and Career programs offered by the School District of Palm Beach County.
This booklet is your guide to explore the exceptional options available to
our PK-12 students for the 2024-2025 school year.
Our School District is committed to providing a comprehensive educational
experience that will prepare them for the ever-evolving business needs
of tomorrow. We firmly believe that offering these robust programs is
instrumental in empowering our students to gain a competitive edge and
a head start towards their future careers.

This year’s theme is “Plant Your Future.” Our Choice and Career programs
are designed to help students do just that through a tailored combination of academic rigor, hands-on training, and
industry partnerships. The programs, which include 95 different industry certifications, plant the seeds that provide
our students with the necessary skills and experiences that will empower them to thrive in the 21st-century workplace.

Families are invited to explore the variety of program options such as Cybersecurity, Medical Sciences, Information
Technology, the Performing Arts, International Baccalaureate, Dual Language, Science, Technology, Engineering,
and Math education (STEM), and more. These programs not only offer rigorous coursework, but they also expose
our students to real-world scenarios, enabling them to apply theoretical concepts to practical situations. Additionally,
our partnerships with local businesses and industry professionals provide invaluable mentorship and internship
opportunities, further enhancing our students' understanding and preparation for their chosen careers.
The impact of these Choice and Career-themed programs on our students cannot be overstated. They instill a sense
of purpose and direction, while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, collaboration, and adaptability - all
vital attributes that are highly sought after in today's economy.
