JUNIOR RESERVES OFFICER TRAINING CORPS (JROTC) PROGRAMS

          Skills for Life

Junior Reserves Officer Training Corps (JROTC) programs emphasize skills for life
and prepares students for post–high school success. Some students participate in
JROTC with an interest in the military career pathway. JROTC can help students
obtain ROTC scholarships to college or one of our nation’s prestigious military
academies. Those who complete 2 to 4 years of JROTC may enter service having
already achieved rank that will provide increased pay. All students will be mentored
to help them achieve their future career goals. This program is conducted at
accredited secondary schools throughout the Nation, by instructors who are
retired Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard officers and enlisted
          personnel.
