PROJECT MANAGEMENT
CENTER OF EXCELLENCE
The IT PMO Department has released its District Project Management
Center for Excellence site for all District departments. The PM Center was
created to support District Strategic Initiative 15 to ‘Implement rigorous
project management structures, protocols and processes’. It is designed
to drive project management processes and use District-wide by providing
Project Management tools, templates and processes to guide District staff with consistent project
Center management best practices.
The IT PMO worked with other departments and business units to raise
awareness of the site and the resources available to encourage and support
anyone who can benefit from managing projects of any scale more effectively
and efficiently. Whether you’re new to Project Management or a seasoned
pro, we feel there’s something for everyone here!
The PMO Center for Excellence will continue to expand and grow to help
meet the needs of the District. The PM Center tile is available in the District
Portal now - please take a look when you have a moment and provide
