MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

Parents and Guardians,

The School District of Palm Beach County’s wide-ranging curriculum offerings for students in K-12 provides
enriching, comprehensive academic instruction by qualified instructors who are certified in specific fields.
The District offers more than 300 Choice and Career programs, making us your best choice in Palm Beach
County for courses tailored to the needs of students as well as the demands of post-secondary education and the
workforce.

This year’s theme is “Discover Something New”, and that is what we are encouraging parents to do, as you look
through this catalog. You will learn about the variety of program options such as Information Technology, the
Performing Arts, Dual Language, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math education (STEM).

Students can take advantage of exciting coursework that will introduce them to new skills, strengthen existing
abilities, and give them the tools necessary for success. Some programs are new, while others have been in
existence for years.
Regardless, what will be consistent is the effort we put into planning our curriculum, setting standards for
achievement, and ensuring that our programs fulfill our mission to educate, affirm, and inspire each student in an
equity-embedded school system.
We know how significant this process is for families, and the importance of making an informed choice about where
to send your children to learn. The District is here to assist you at every stage, and together we will ensure that each
students’ aptitude and career goals are nurtured and supported.

This booklet is your guide to the abundance of Choice and Career programs available in the School District of Palm
Beach County. This booklet will also serve as a valuable reference tool outlining the District’s centralized application
