Congratulations to Mickey Ryan on his June 30th retirement from IT
Infrastructure! A dedicated team member and VMware Admin for 10 years
who was always available after hours, Mickey managed all Windows Server

school backups and restores to ensure teachers, students, and staff were
protected in case of emergency file restores. Mickey was a big team player
and will surely be missed. Please join IT Infrastructure in congratulating
Mickey on his retirement and the next phase of his life.

IT Enterprise Applications
Mike Via, General Manager in the IT Enterprise Applications Department,
retired in May 2022 after 27 years of service to the District. At the time of
retirement, Mike was the General Manager of the SIS Technical Team. He
was very well known and respected for his tremendous knowledge of student
data, student systems, State DOE requirements, and the Focus SIS software.
He was a critical member of the TERMS-to-SIS Migration Project Team. Prior
