We encourage all students to grow and learn with a sound mind and healthy body. All students set academic and wellness goals. They participate in daily activities and receive weekly lessons in the Wellness lab. The PYP is a combination of the best research and practices from international schools and includes the study of world languages and cultures to enhance the international perspective.International Spanish AcademyInternational Spanish Academies (ISA) are Dual Language Programs that have signed a collaborative agreement with the Ministry of Education of Spain. This K%u201312 educational program is carried out within the framework of cooperative activities organized by the Office of Education of Spain in the U.S. and each participating district. The language, history, and culture of Spanish speaking countries are a major focus of the curriculum. This program is a Spanish two%u2013way immersion program and allows students to develop proficiency in two languages by receiving classroom instruction in English as well as Spanish. For grades 2%u20135, each school may determine a student%u2019s eligibility by using an oral interview along with a Spanish reading inventory or other available Spanish content assessments. Newly arrived Spanish-speaking ELLs should be automatically admitted into the program at their zoned school.
