Theatre Available School Options
The Theatre programs provide students with the literary, performance and technical
experience necessary to enter professional theatre companies or theatre programs Choice
at the most prestigious universities and conservatories. Students are engaged in · Boynton Beach Community High

careers in the Theatre Arts. Students have an opportunity to learn behind the scenes
technical support which includes set design, costumes, lighting and sound. All
students applying to these programs must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Theatre - Acting Available School Options
The Acting track of the Theatre program challenges young artists to develop a
passion and understanding of the art form. Students will focus on process-centered Choice
work gaining a profound knowledge of who they are in the world both as artists · A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts
and humans. Through a curriculum involving movement work, script analysis, scene In–House: None available
study, Shakespeare, devised theater and directing, students will train to become
competitive theater practitioners and storytellers. All students applying to these

Theatre - Musical Available School Options
The Musical track of the Theatre program explores the practical skills needed for the
artist seeking to study musical theatre on the collegiate level. Students study acting, Choice

principles, present selections from their repertoire books, workshop material, work

The Technical track of the Theatre program provides students with a comprehensive
understanding of all production elements of a show and offers hands-on training Choice

Tourism, Hospitality, and Resort Management program is a college preparatory
curriculum that integrates unique high school courses with practical internships and Choice
