T-MOBILE TRANSITION
Sprint will move all accounts to T-mobile’s network. New T-Mobile sim cards
will be sent out. FHESC building users will transition first. Once service and
billing is proven successful, the rest of the District will follow. The new 5G
network will only work on iPhone 8 models and above. Purchasing is in the
process of updating older phones.
IVANTI UEM
2020.1 UPGRADE
Over the Summer, IT upgraded the Ivanti Unified Endpoint Manager
(UEM) platform to version 2020.1. This release brought several security
enhancements and new features such as BitLocker management and
Cloud Storage for software delivery. These features were needed to create
better experiences for the users and to move forward with modern device
management.
With this release, IT is able to collect foundational data from managed
devices and provide metrics for management. These improvements facilitate
the rollout of various applications and procedures, including the new Carbon
Black EDR and device distributions for distance learning.
