                                     21WPTF Support Thanks to the generosity of a special donor since FY17, the Wellness Promotion Task Force (WPTF) has been instrumental in supporting various wellness initiatives. In FY25, the Task Force proudly funded the following initiatives:%u0082 10th Annual Heroes for Education Run/Walk %u2013 October 6, 2024:o WPTF funds were used to cover the entry fees for 8 students from the District. %u0082 11th Annual Student Mental Health and Wellness Conference %u2013 March 31, 2025: o The purpose of the conference was to support student and family resiliency, mental health, and wellness during challenging times, as these factors directly contributed to a positive school climate, individual and family connectedness, academic achievement, and student success. The in-person, full-day event featured a keynote speaker, breakout sessions, and a community resource fair that provided information and strategies to support the well-being and mental health of students and staff. At this conference, the WPTF supported for the second time the SMILE (Stress Management Initiative and Lifestyle Enhancement) Room.o WPTF provided funding support through the creation of ten Student Wellness Kits. These kits were designed to equip ten winning conference participants with practical, interactive tools to support student counseling, mentoring, and positive engagement.%u0082 2025 Lexus Corporate Walk/Run %u2013 April 15, 2025:o The WPTF funded snacks for all employees who participated in the event. This event continued to promote wellness and fun among District employees, showcasing the importance of collaboration in creating a Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) culture.%u0082 Take Our Daughters/Sons to Work Day %u2013 April 24, 2025:o The WPTF sponsored for the third consecutive school years the wellness activity led by Digital Vibez, Inc., encouraging increased student physical activity at this event.We sincerely thanked our generous donor for their continued support, which made these impactful wellness initiatives possible.Wellness Promotion Task Force Funds
