Title: Recommendation: I recommend the School Board approve an Amendment to the Construction Management at Risk Agreement to establish the Phase 1 Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for construction in the amount of $5,902,176. to James B. Pirtle Construction Co., for Summit/Jog Road Area Elementary School, 03-Y, Project No. 0051-8338 and authorize the Superintendent and Board Chairman to sign all required documents. Description: Construction Management at Risk services required for the construction of a 129,900 GSF elementary school with related facilities and an adjacent 15,000 GSF facility to be utilized as an Estimated Construction Budget: $21,511,247. Number of Stories: Two Construction Type: Tilt-Wall Gross Square Feet: 144,815 Budgeted Construction Cost per Gross Square Foot: $149 Total Construction Cost per Gross Square Foot: $NA Building Cost per Gross Square Foot (Div 3-16): $ NA Student Stations: 1000 Budgeted Construction Cost per Student Station: $21,511. Total Construction Cost per Student Station: $ NA Building Cost per Student Station (Div. 3-16): $ NA Preconstruction Fee: $322,185. Phase 1 GMP (Site/Utilities): $5,902,176.
