Title: Recommendation: Description: Construction Management @ Risk Services required for construction of 49,642 GSF of K-5 classroom additions to accommodate an additional 370 student stations. This project will also include a roof replacement and exterior brick repairs. The construction shall be in accordance with the Educational Specifications approved by the Board on March 16, 2005. Estimated Construction Budget: $9,909,554. Number of Stories: Two Construction Type: Pre-cast Concrete/Masonry Gross Square Feet: 49,642 Budgeted Construction Cost per Total Construction Cost per Gross Square Foot: $209. Building Cost per Student Stations: 370 Budgeted Construction Cost per Student Station: $26,783. Total Construction Cost per Student Station: $28,041. Building Cost per Student Station (Div. 3-16): $20,211. Preconstruction Fee: $89,815. GMP: $10,285,251. Total Cost of Construction: $10,375,066. Building Cost (Div. 3-16): $7,477,887. Financial Impact: The financial impact is an increase to the Project Budget of $375,697 and a commitment of $10,361,362 which includes the GMP of $10,285,251 and $76,111 for the District provided Builder’s Risk Insurance.
