This annual report takes you through a historical journey that embraces the progress of our district and community. Reflecting on our annual report history…we should reminisce with great pride!

Since the creation of this important district policy and process – A “Wellness Promotion Task Force” was developed - now comprised of over 600 members. The positive growth has been remarkable! Equally remarkable, has been our unrelenting and methodical journey – fully supported by numerous, vital partnerships - partnerships that help form purpose and direction within the context of an annual theme for a comprehensive annual report.

Concluding the 2007 school year – our first year, a Progress Report was created and presented. Since then, we concentrated on a theme, one that best represented where we were at that time. Our first theme was “Change”… and throughout the years respectively, we have successfully celebrated many more: “Unity”, “Transformation”, and “Personal Responsibility”… collectively they have brought us to our current theme of “Perseverance”.

Together, we have had the opportunity to embrace those past themes and the most current theme of “Perseverance”. As we keep momentum moving forward we understand that to “Persevere” means to continue through a course of action in spite of difficulty and opposition.

As mentioned by Walter Elliot…”Perseverance is not a long race: it is many short races, one after another”… therefore, we will keep pressing on!
