Growing Fruit
Many schools are interested in expanding their gardens to include
fruit trees. Included in this guide is a list of fruit trees that are
acceptable for use on school campuses and are known to grow
well in South Florida. Once planted, maintenance is generally low.

Make sure you harvest your food as necessary! Unattended fruit
on the ground will attract rodents. Trees can have very large
root systems which can interfere with sidewalks, buried utilities,
        buildings, etc.

Please contact the Garden Collaboration Team for guidance
BEFORE planting any trees on your campus.
