Social Studies End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment Requirement
All students enrolled in and completing the following courses must take the U.S. History
EOC Assessment:

and the World from 1848 Honors
Students enrolled in Access courses take the appropriate Access EOC upon completion of the
Access course and when determined appropriate by the IEP team.
Students enrolled in AP, IB, or AICE History courses may take the U.S. History EOC if desired for
the Scholar Designation.
Physical Education requirements for Four-Year 24-Credit Option
In accordance with Florida Statute § 1003.4282(3)(f), the school may not require that the

one credit physical education requirement be taken during the 9 grade year.
This requirement may be met by completing one of three options:
Option 1: 0.5 credit Personal Fitness/0.5 credit Physical Education Activity Elective; or
Option 2: 1.0 credit Health Opportunities through Physical Education (HOPE).
Option 3: Earning one or more of the Physical Education Waivers described below.
