Music—Orchestral Strings Available School Options
The Orchestral Strings program is a unique program providing an instrumental music
education designed specifically for dedicated young orchestral musicians. Choice

Music—Vocal Available School Options
This program provides a music education designed for young vocalists. Students Choice
will learn about proper vocal technique and performing in a choir through topics · Bak Middle School of the Arts*
such as ear training (sight singing), diction, proper breath support, music history, · Palm Springs Community Middle

Performing Arts
The Performing Arts program provides unique opportunities for the committed and Choice
talented student who has a serious interest in the Performing Arts. In–depth study · Loggers Run Middle
of the Arts develops conceptual and technical skills of artistic expression and brings In–House: None available
to fruition the student’s individual interpretations of the world. Students can apply to
participate in these extensive highly specialized courses in: Dance, Theater (acting

Pre–Biotechnology
Choice
The Pre–Biotechnology Academy is designed to enable middle school students to
explore the connections between science content areas and the rapidly growing · Bear Lakes Middle
biotechnology industry. At the same time, students develop the knowledge base In–House: None available
to ensure successful articulation to high school science academies. The program
provides, through a series of science electives, an understanding of the basic
principles which form the foundation of biotechnology. Topics that are explored
include genetics, DNA structure and function, utilization of basic biotechnology tools
and techniques, forensics, bioethics, and genetic engineering. Students also survey
the major career area opportunities related to the field of biotechnology.

The Pre–Business IT Academy provides an educational setting dedicated to Choice
