FY23 Major District Accomplishments
• Designated by the State as an Academically High-Performing School District
• District maintained an A-Rating from the Florida Department of Education, outperforming all
neighboring counties
• 2022 Referendum approved with 74% of the vote
• Successfully completed the 2023 District accreditation review process with Cognia
• Council of Occupational Education accreditation for Healthcare Career and Technical Education
(CTE) programs at Chuck Shaw Technical Education Center and West Technical Education
