The School Police Community Engagement team successfully spearheaded events such as the Special Olympics
Torch Run and Tip-a-Cop, raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics athletes. These initiatives not only
generated financial support but also created meaningful opportunities for officers to build strong, respectful
relationships with individuals with disabilities. Through their involvement, officers celebrated the athletes’
strengths, determination, and accomplishments, fostering a sense of community and mutual understanding.
