Plan Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation
The 2016-2021 Technology Plan will provide the foundation for technology initiatives.
During the next three years, the District will use the Plan to establish priorities, portfolio of
projects, and budgets. Each year, a blueprint of technology initiatives will be developed.
As a continuous improvement process, the Technology Plan will be reviewed annually by
technology leadership to ensure that initiatives are aligned with the plan objectives, as well
as to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the initiatives. The plan may be adjusted, and
budget and priorities may also change, due to legislative mandates, District programs, and
the technology budget. To successfully implement the priorities of increased teacher
effectiveness and student achievement, the District will follow a four step process:
1. Define priorities and strategic requirements.
2. Define a blueprint of projects that are in direct alignment with District’s priorities.
3. Continuously monitor the implementation.
4. Develop a balanced scorecard for evaluation of quality and effectiveness.
