14 FY25 Wellness Promotion Policy (WPP) Annual Report Back to MenuThe District remained steadfast in its commitment to promoting the health, safety, and well-being of all students and employees. Recognizing that wellness directly influences academic achievement and lifelong success, the District%u2019s Wellness Promotion Policy (2.035) continued to serve as a guiding framework aligned with the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) model.Beginning in FY24 and culminating in FY25, the District conducted a comprehensive revision of the Wellness Promotion Policy, grounded in collaboration, evaluation, and continuous improvement. With analytical support from Action for Healthy Kids, the District utilized the 2023 WellSAT 3.0 and WellSAT WSCC assessment tools to identify strengths and opportunities within existing wellness initiatives. These insights informed a policy development process that involved the Wellness Promotion Collaboration Team (WPCT), General Counsel%u2019s Office, Principals Executive Board, Superintendent%u2019s Student Advisory Council, School Health Advisory Council (SHAC), and additional District and community stakeholders.Throughout FY25, the District achieved a series of strategic milestones that culminated in the formal adoption of the revised Wellness Promotion Policy (2.035) on April 23, 2025. Staff and community engagement were prioritized through workshops, surveys, and regular updates to ensure transparency and alignment with District goals.The District hosted a Wellness Promotion Policy Development Workshop to solicit public input, allowing employees and community members to provide valuable feedback. As FY25 concluded, the adoption of the updated Wellness Promotion Policy marked a pivotal milestone in the District%u2019s ongoing commitment to advancing whole-child and whole-community wellness.
