HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Marketing
The Marketing program is designed to prepare students for higher education Available School Options
and careers in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. The program
develops marketing concepts as they apply to areas such as business, e–commerce, Choice

entertainment, fashion, finance, hospitality, law, management, medicine, sales, and In–House
sports. Hands–on projects throughout the program will allow students to work with · Jupiter Community High
local businesses and entrepreneurs to develop real world experiences and skills. The
student can develop leadership skills while participating in many community activities
and field trips. All students applying to this program must meet the following
eligibility criteria: 2.5 GPA.
Math, Science and Engineering (MSE)
The MSE program is designed to meet the needs of highly talented students wishing Available School Options
to pursue an accelerated curriculum with emphasis on mathematics, science, and
engineering. MSE graduates typically earn between one and two years of college Choice
credit and take Pre–Calculus, Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus, Calculus II, Calculus · Suncoast Community High
III, and Differential Equations I and II. Students conduct scientific research, take In–House: None available
introductory courses in mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering, and participate in
two, three–week FAU Engineering Scholars Program courses that focus on state–of–
the–art engineering practices for which they earn college credit. In addition, students
sit for AP Exams in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Calculus and several liberal arts
related subjects of their choice. Entering grade 9 students applying to MSE must meet
the following criteria: 3.0 Academic GPA and Algebra I & II Honors and Geometry
Honors required.
Mechatronics
Mechatronics is the combination of mechanical engineering, computing, and Available School Options
electronics as used in the design and development of new manufacturing techniques.
Mechatronics is critically important to keeping industrial or production facilities Choice
operation systems running smoothly. The program at West Tech places a heavy · West Technical Education Center
emphasis on hands–on manufacturing skills & robotics production. As you matriculate In–House: None available
through this program you will have opportunities to earn up to four industry
certifications—Pre–Engineering, Robotics, MSSC Certified Production Technicians
(MSSC–CPT), and Mechatronics Fitter. Students that earn the MSSC–CPT industry
certification should be eligible for 15 credit hours towards the Florida Engineering
Technology A.S./A.A.S. where the program is offered in the state. All students
applying to this program must meet the following eligibility criteria: 2.0 GPA and
