HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Fashion Design
The Fashion Design program is designed to provide high school students with skills Available School Options
necessary for careers in fashion design, fashion merchandising, costume design,
and entrepreneurship. The Fashion Design academy has a rich, hands–on curriculum Choice: None available
focusing on design skills and a broad array of garment construction techniques. In–House
Students will experience all aspects of garment construction and design, perfecting · John I. Leonard Community High
skills in advanced garment construction, computerized garment design, and creative
embroidery design using advanced technology to simulate industry standards. There
are no eligibility criteria required for students applying to these programs.
Finance
The Finance program is designed to give high school students an opportunity to learn Available School Options
about and prepare for college or careers in business and finance. Emphasis is placed Choice
on a college preparatory curriculum that is directly linked to the financial world. · Olympic Heights Community High
Students participate in mentorships, career shadowing, and internship programs · William T. Dwyer High
that link the resources of business, economics, and finance to education and to the In–House
students. Specialized courses in finance are required. Finance is a model program · John I. Leonard Community High

All students applying to these programs must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Fine Arts
The Fine Arts program offers creative students the opportunity to study their art Available School Options
form(s) while taking at least eight fine arts courses over four years. Students will Choice

Fire Science
The Fire Science program is a four–year program that prepares cadets as outstanding Available School Options
applicants for entry into post graduate fire academies, specifically Palm Beach State
College. Students learn skills including: fire behavior, first responder model, personal Choice

positions as company officers. Students in the Academy are concurrently enrolled

Global Business
The Global Business Academy prepares students for entry–level management Available School Options
trainee positions through its Marketing Program. This multi–faceted, survey program
is designed to prepare students for higher education and careers in marketing, Choice
