Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day

Hosting Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day was a joyous occasion filled with anticipation and excitement for
children and adults alike. As departments opened their doors to approximately 175 of our students, the atmosphere buzzed
with curiosity and enthusiasm. From the moment they entered the Fulton-Holland Educational Services Center, students
were greeted with smiles and warmth, eager to embark on a day of discovery and learning. Twelve departments across the
District transformed rooms into playgrounds of exploration, with engaging activities carefully crafted to ignite young minds
and foster a sense of wonder about the world of work.

Throughout the day, children were immersed in interactive activities and hands-on demonstrations. From engaging in
mock trials to negotiating contracts with their parents to stepping into the shoes of the superintendent for a day, children
got a firsthand experience of various career paths and the inner workings of the District's central office. The day was not
just about fun and games but also a valuable opportunity for children to envision their aspirations and gain insights into
the importance of education, hard work, and perseverance. As they absorbed the knowledge and experiences shared by
staff, Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day has become a catalyst for inspiring the next generation of leaders and
        innovators.
