Preparing Teachers for Distance Learning

In order to meet the needs of students in this new

distance learning environment, teachers have access to
professional development courses in the following areas:

• Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Wellness, & Safety

• Content-Specific Resources

• Equity: Meeting the Needs of Diverse Learners

• Technology Integration

• Collaboration & Engagement

• Coordinators, Coaches, & School Leaders

• Assessment & Progress Monitoring

Professional Development for teachers began on July 6, 2020.

New professional development opportunities continue to be

offered throughout the school year in order to provide ongoing
support for synchronous and asynchronous learning

environments.
