     Risk & Benefits Management eForms

     Event Tool Wins National Award

The Department of Risk & Benefits Management received the Public Risk
Management Association’s 2018 National Outstanding Achievement Award
for its Special Event Risk Planning Guide and Tool. IT’s Forms Management
Team was instrumental in the design of the tool using eForms.

The three-part product begins with a red light /green light process for events,
facility leasing, school activities and field trips. It continues with an interactive
eForm that prompts the user to consider risk factors at each level.

The tool was developed in collaboration with Planning and Intergovernmental
Relations, Purchasing, Legal Services, IT’s Forms Management Team,
Extended Learning, our insurance broker (The Beacon Group), and
bookkeepers, secretaries, club sponsors, teachers, and administrators that
     provided feedback.

Several other Florida school district risk managers have adapted the product
for use in their district. Page 17
