Pine Jog Elementary School has partnered with Florida Atlantic University and Pine Jog
Choice Environmental Education Center to create the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental

science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Students have the opportunity to
engage in hands–on learning experiences as they explore and discover the wonders of
native vegetation and wildlife on the 150 acres of natural Florida habitat. This hands–on,
investigative approach requires the student to become an active participant in the learning
process. Nature studies offer many opportunities to involve art throughout this unique
integrated curriculum.
