MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Fine Arts Available School Options
The Fine Arts program offers both meaningful and enriching opportunities in the areas
of Chorus, Handbells, Band, Music–Keyboard/Piano, Drama, Art, TV Production, Speech Choice
& Debate, and Journalism. Students will develop and hone artistic strengths and transfer · Wellington Landings Middle

Global Language Academy
North Grade's Dual Language Global Academy will offer a continuation for students who Available School Options

years. Highly motivated students will be engaged in a challenging academic environment in
which three of their core academic courses are taught in Spanish. The goals of the program · North Grade K-8

Graphic Arts

International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme Available School Options
The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) provides a framework
of academic challenges and life skills appropriate to this stage of adolescence. The IBMYP Choice
offers a holistic approach that emphasizes critical thinking skills, global citizenship, and · Carver Community Middle*

throughout the curriculum. Technology rich, project based learning will be emphasized. IB
units of inquiry will incorporate rigorous STEM curriculum as well as global contexts that are
supported by student centered learning opportunities.
