MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Preparing for College and

Career Pathways

There are 129 Choice and In–House programs within 43 middle schools that
prepare students for both college and career pathways. Students participate
in specific programs of study that lead to high school Career and Technical
Education academies or Choice programs. Students will also have the
opportunity to earn a Technology Industry Certification before entering high
school.

Unleash Your Creativity: Arts and Communications Programs
Creative and artistic opportunities are the main attractions in the Arts programs. All students enrolled in these programs are dedicated
to the study of the arts. Intensive study and time is devoted to each student’s chosen arts major, while exploring other artistic disciplines
in the classroom, in the studio, and on stage. These programs challenge students to achieve a high standard of artistic professionalism
and academic excellence. Students are exposed to professional artists, field trips, and artistic performances as part of the program.
