HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Marketing and Entrepreneurship Available School Options
The Marketing and Entrepreneurship program prepares students for entry–level
management trainee positions through its Marketing Program. This multi–faceted, survey Choice

students to work with local businesses and entrepreneurs to develop real world experiences
and skills. Students can develop leadership skills while participating in many community
activities and field trips. All students applying to this program must meet the following
eligibility criteria: 2.5 GPA.
Available School Options
Math, Science and Engineering (MSE)
The MSE program is designed to meet the needs of highly talented students wishing to Choice
pursue an accelerated curriculum with emphasis on mathematics, science, and engineering. · Suncoast High
MSE graduates typically earn between one and two years of college credit. Advanced In–House: None available
Placement (AP) Precalculus, AP Calculus, AP Physics I, AP Physics II, and AP Physics C
are some of the required courses for the MSE program. Dual enrollment courses offered
at Suncoast High School are also required. The following are some of the required dual
enrollment courses: Calculus II, Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra.
Students will conduct scientific research and take introductory courses in mechanical,
civil, and electrical engineering. MSE students will be given the opportunity to add the
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to their program beginning their junior
year.
All students applying to this program must meet the following eligibility criteria: 3.0
GPA or higher and a 3.0 GPA or higher in each of the following math courses: Algebra
I Honors, Algebra II Honors, and Geometry Honors. Grades earned during each
marking period will be used to calculate the GPA for each math course. Verification of
enrollment in the required math courses is required at time of application submission.
Proof of completion of the required courses must be submitted via email by May 29,
2026 to deverie.yazar@palmbeachschools.org.
Mechatronics Available School Options
Mechatronics is the combination of mechanical engineering, computing, and electronics Choice
as used in the design and development of new manufacturing techniques. Mechatronics is · West Technical Education Center
critically important to keeping industrial or production facilities operation systems running In–House: None available
smoothly. The program at West Tech places a heavy emphasis on hands–on manufacturing
skills & robotics production. As you matriculate through this program you will have
opportunities to earn up to four industry certifications—Pre–Engineering, Robotics, MSSC
Certified Production Technicians (MSSC–CPT), and Mechatronics Fitter. Students that earn
the MSSC–CPT industry certification should be eligible for 15 credit hours towards the
Florida Engineering Technology A.S./A.A.S. where the program is offered in the state. All
students applying to this program must meet the following eligibility criteria: 2.0 GPA
