Theatre Available School Options
The Theatre program provide students with the literary, performance and technical
experience necessary to enter professional theatre companies or theatre programs at the Choice
most prestigious universities and conservatories. Students are engaged in learning artistic · Boynton Beach Community High
discipline & audience etiquette, acting & characterization, movement & vocal production, In–House: None available
pantomime & improvisation, script elements & playwriting, theatre history & influences,
technical theatre & design, theatre production, roles and careers in the Theatre Arts.
Students have an opportunity to learn behind the scenes technical support which includes
set design, costumes, lighting and sound. All students applying to this program must
meet the following eligibility criteria: 2.0 GPA and a qualifying audition score.
Theatre - Acting Available School Options
The Acting track of the Theatre program challenges young artists to develop a passion
and understanding of the art form. Students will focus on process-centered work gaining Choice

The Technical track of the Theatre program provides students with a comprehensive
understanding of all production elements of a show and offers hands-on training in all Choice
aspects of technical theatre construction and design of scenery, lighting, sound, and · A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts
costume. Students can study stage management, arts administration, and prepare for In–House: None available
leadership positions on crews and production teams. All students applying to this
