Welding Assistant (Career Dual Enrollment)
West Technical Center
This Welding Technology Dual Enrollment Program allows high school students to
earn college clock hours while learning hands-on welding skills. Students gain practical
experience with tools, safety procedures, and welding techniques, preparing them for
entry-level jobs and further education in the welding industry. Students will also have the
opportunity to earn various industry certifications. This high school dual-enrollment program
is accredited through the Council of Occupational Education and is offered free of charge for
District high school students.
