HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS

The School District of Palm Beach County Department is excited to announce its
expansion of high school choice programming, charting Pathways to Possibilities
for every student. We are forging new educational routes directly into the careers of
tomorrow and introducing cutting-edge specializations that are aligned with the most
dynamic and rapidly growing needs of our community.

Artificial Intelligence (AI Foundations)
Palm Beach Gardens Community High School
In this program, students will learn core concepts—like how AI systems "see" and "think,"
how they learn from data (Machine Learning), and the essential ethical rules for using them.
The program provides hands-on programming experience designing, building, and evaluating
real AI systems.

Quantum AI Nexus Academy
Royal Palm Beach Community High School
Step into the future with Quantum AI Nexus Academy! Explore groundbreaking technologies
like quantum computing and artificial intelligence that are transforming the world. Learn
how quantum physics powers computers to solve problems beyond the reach of today’s
machines, and discover how AI and emerging tech are shaping tomorrow’s careers and
everyday life. Get hands-on experience with real quantum and AI tools while building the
skills you need to succeed in a rapidly changing technological landscape. If you’re ready to
be a part of the next generation of innovators, this academy is your launchpad!

Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences
Atlantic Community High School
In this program, students will learn to use science and design skills to solve real health
problems—like inventing new medical devices, creating better diagnostic tools, or
engineering artificial organs. The program provides hands-on design projects and the
technical skills needed to build and evaluate solutions that directly impact human health.

Construction
Santaluces Community High School
The Construction Academy offers real world experience in the construction industry.
Students will work with local construction companies on school based and community
building projects. Students will earn National industry certifications provided by NCCER.
Students will also have access to internships with some of the biggest companies in the
industry.
