Biomedical Sciences Available School Options
The Biomedical Sciences program, in collaboration with local universities and
medical schools, is design to increase interest in Medicine and Biomedical Research Choice

Williams Center for Pre–Law · Palm Beach Lakes Community High
Pre–Law and Law–Related programs are designed for students interested in careers In–House: None available
in law, legal service and public affairs. In the program, students may participate
in internships in government agencies, law offices, and law enforcement facilities.
They are exposed to a broad range of law–related issues by teachers, guest
speakers, and field trips, as they gain an in–depth understanding of how the legal
system impacts every aspect of society. Students have the opportunity to learn
in a courtroom lab setting through The Gerald A. Williams Center for Pre–Law.
Community partnerships create outstanding school–to–work experiences in areas
such as courts, law enforcement, corrections, probation, and justice. All students Available School Options

Choice
Civil Air Patrol · Pahokee Middle-Senior High
The Civil Air Patrol Program (CAP) is designed to build a student's character by In–House: None available
instilling skills as a leader. Cadets will be exposed to concepts in the Aerospace
industry and career exploration tied to a STEM curriculum. The program consists
of three missions: Aerospace Education, Cadet Program, and Emergency Services.
Upon completion of the CAP program, Cadets are eligible to earn up to two pay
grades higher than others should they choose to further their career in the Armed Available School Options
Forces. There are no eligibility criteria required for students applying to this

Communication Arts In–House: None available
The Communication Arts program is the first of its kind to exist anywhere in the
United States. It offers a multi-strand curriculum that promotes proficiency in
speech and debate, print and broadcast journalism, yearbook, creative writing,
graphic design, digital video/film production and television production. The
program prepares students to be leaders in the various fields of Communications
through participation in performances, publications and productions. All students
applying to these programs must meet the following eligibility criteria: 2.0 GPA
and an eligible audition score.
