In ELA, the percent of students scoring on grade level increased across grades throughout the year. There was growth of 20
or more points in grades 3-5, 11 points in grades 7-9, and 6 and 7 points in grades 6 and 10, respectively.

In grades 3-8 mathematics, the percent of students scoring on grade level increased by over 40 points in grades 3, 4, 5, and
8; 35 points in grade 6; and 28 points in grade 7. Algebra (48% on grade level) and Geometry (50% on grade level) were not
included in the progress monitoring system.
