                                    112 SUPERINTENDENT ANNUAL REPORTSCHOOL POLICE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTThe School Police Community Engagement Team is dedicated to supporting students and families across Palm Beach County by providing resources, guidance, and opportunities that promote safety, stability, and growth. Under the theme Pathways to Possibilities: My Choice, My Future, the team works directly with students and families to provide assistance, guidance, and programs that help build a foundation for success.In FY26, the team expanded efforts to address food insecurity and immediate needs through several key initiatives:%u2022 Food Security ProgramsThe school-based Pantry Program ensures students have regular access to meals and essential supplies, while multiple large-scale giveaways distributed more than 100,000 pounds of provisions to households facing challenges.%u2022 Holiday AssistanceThe Adopt-a-Family initiative supplied turkeys and other essentials to families during Thanksgiving, helping ensure they could enjoy the holiday.%u2022 Emotional WellnessThe Therapy Dog Program continues to provide emotional support to students, helping them manage stress and maintain well-being at school.The team remains a strong contributor to long-standing initiatives, including Shop with a Cop, the Special Olympics Torch Run, Tip a Cop, and the St. Mary%u2019s Hospital %u201cSay Goodnight to Child Abuse%u201d campaign. The team also supports autism awareness events to educate the public and promote patience and inclusion for students on the spectrum. These programs enable the team to engage directly with students and families, provide critical support, and reinforce its commitment to safety, guidance, and opportunity. Through these outreach efforts, the team addresses immediate needs and cultivates a secure environment for future achievement.
