32 SUPERINTENDENT ANNUAL REPORTMODERNIZATION OF WYNNEBROOK ES, RISE ACADEMY, & NEW SADDLE VIEW ESFacility updates across the District during FY26 included completing two major modernizations and con,structing one new elementary school. Careful design ensured these campuses provide students with up-to-date technology, essential safety features, and enhanced functionality, thereby enhancing teaching and learning environments. Key project highlights include:%u2022 Wynnebrook ES: Construction teams replaced the oldest structures with new facilities and remodeled the newer buildings. A strong emphasis on pedestrian access accommodates students who walk to school.%u2022 RISE Academy: Remodeling the old South Tech campus successfully met RISE Academy%u2019s specific academic needs. Students and staff remained on site throughout the construction process.%u2022 Saddle View ES: The new facility builds on the architectural footprint used at Blue Lake ES by adding enhancements that better serve the local community. Opening this campus provides the community with a neighborhood school and addresses overcrowding at a nearby school.The Wynnebrook ES modernization project includes a new main entrance, modernized classrooms, and a playground.
