                                    EDUCATE | AFFIRM | INSPIRE 29MEDIA CENTER UPGRADESCollege Football Playoff Foundation and Orange Bowl Committee Media Center ProjectThe District continued its valuable partnership with the College Football Playoff Foundation and the Orange Bowl Committee through the %u201cExtra Yard for Teachers%u201d program to modernize school media centers. Using a matching-funds model, the initiative transformed the media centers at three schools into dynamic hubs of innovation. These schools included: Loxahatchee Groves ES, Carver Community MS, and Indian Pines ES.Upgraded spaces feature flexible furniture and advanced digital tools designed to support 21st-century pedagogy and diverse learning styles. This collaboration represents a direct investment in the District%u2019s educational infrastructure. By increasing the versatility of these areas, the program promotes an environment where creativity and collaboration thrive. These enhancements ensure media centers are welcoming spaces for academic growth, allowing them to serve as each school%u2019s academic hub.Separately, the District completed the modernization of three high school media centers to align with the evolving needs of 21st-century learners. Integrating contemporary flooring, high-efficiency lighting, and ergonomic furniture, these renovations moved beyond traditional library designs to create multi-functional hubs.
