improvement, and adjusting resources where necessary, will allow us to attain the high
performance culture and cycle of continuous improvement needed to unlock the full
potential of administrators, faculty, and students.
By continuing to expand the Digital Classroom model and provide ongoing support and
technology training for educators, we can build an infrastructure that allows students to
engage anywhere, anytime personalized learning opportunities. Through collaborative efforts
amongst Information Technology (IT), Educational Technology (Ed Tech), Academics, K-12
Curriculum, Professional Development, Performance & Accountability, and other
departments to plan, engage, and implement proven technology-based concepts in the
classroom, we can fulfill the transformational promise of technology to provide the
educational experiences, growth, and achievement that all students deserve.
In today’s ever changing world, technology plays a big role in students’ academic success.
We view technology as the accelerator to produce high-quality, standards-based teaching,
and learning.
Of course, the use of technology alone would make no difference in students’ academic
success if we did not enhance the instruction, culture, and systems-support to integrate this
technology into the classroom.
