BIOS

DEPARTMENT: SECURITY
New Employee: Jorge Savaglia
Jorge is the new manager of IT Security; he has
been in the field for 10 years. Prior to arriving at
SDPBC, Jorge worked as an IT Manager for a medical
billing company based in Fort Lauderdale. Jorge is
a native of Palm Beach County, born and raised.
He and his wife Viviana have two children--Mia
and Giovani. Jorge is glad to bring his acquired
military and private sector experiences back to
SDPBC where he went to school . Also, cutting back
from a 2-hour commute twice a day is an
added bonus!

DEPARTMENT: SECURITY
New Employee: Steven Britt
Steven started working in IT as a COBOL programmer
in 1991 for the sugar industry here and has enjoyed
the various opportunities in Florida over the
years. Most of his IT career he’s been working
as an independent consultant traveling around
to different clients in and out of the country.
He’s met “some great people in a wide range of
industries.” Steven is married and has two great
kids, one works for Apple and the other goes to
Palm Beach State College. In his spare time, he
enjoys riding motorcycles and being a part of the
501st Legion as a Stormtrooper visiting kids in
hospitals and doing other charitable activities.
Steven is the PeopleSoft Security Administrator.
